Architecture is often described as a visual art, but it is truly an experiential one. At the Forum Group, we have always believed that a building is more than a mere structure of glass, steel, and concrete; it is a living ecosystem that shapes human interaction, evokes emotion, and defines the skyline of our future. However, the true essence of a space is fleeting. It changes with the passing of clouds, the shifting of seasons, and the angle of the sun. This is where the magic of photography steps in.
The Forum Lightscape Photography Awards were born from a desire to celebrate the profound dialogue between the architect who envisions a space and the visual artist who captures its soul. Our goal is to bridge the gap between intentional design and visual creativity. We want to honor the storytellers who look through a viewfinder and see beyond the blueprint—who find rhythm in geometry, poetry in shadows, and life within the walls.
Through this platform, we are not just looking for technically perfect images of buildings. We are looking for unique perspectives. We want to see how light interacts with texture, how a structure sits within its broader environment, and how spaces make us feel.
Whether you are an established architectural photographer or an emerging creative talent with a fresh perspective on the built environment, I invite you to share your vision with us. Join us in elevating architectural photography from simple documentation to a celebrated form of fine art.
We look forward to seeing the world through your lens.
